Mrs. Mary Ellen Doyle, widow of Michael Doyle, a former resident of Altoona, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. John Crawford, in Pittsburg, with whom she had resided for the past nine years. She is survived by the following children; Mrs. Crawford, of Pittsburg, J.A. Doyle, of this city; W.T., of Colorado: Frank J. Doyle, of Johnstown; and Mrs. C.A. Luther, of Eldorado.

The body will be brought to this city and taken to the home of her son, J.A. Doyle, of 1516 Eighteenth street, where funeral services will be held.

Mrs. Mary Ellen Doyle, widow of Michael Doyle, died at the residence of her daughter, Mrs. John Crawford, in Pittsburg, Thursday morning at 5 o'clock, of a complication of diseases. She was born in Chest Springs, Cambria county, 78 years ago.

She was a former resident of Altoona but for the past nine years had made her home in Pittsburg. Surviving are the following children; Mrs. John Crawford, of Pittsburg; James A., of this city; William, of Colorado; Frank, of Johnstown, and Mrs. C.A. Luther, of Eldorado.

The remains may be viewed at the residence of her son James, 1516 Eighteenth street, any time prior to the funeral, which will be held at St. John's pro-cathedral Monday morning, with requiem mass at 10 o'clock.

Interment in St. John's cemetery.



Death Cert. Parents listed as unknown, but born in Ireland. She was a widow and working as a housekeeper for Thomas J. Cagney.
