CADDO MILLS – Services for Roy Bost, 75, of Caddo Mills will be at 3 p.m. today at the First United Methodist Church with Revs. Mike Flynn and Roy Bevin officiating. Burial will be in East Mount Cemetery in Greenville.
Mr. Bost died Monday at 5:30 p.m. in his home suddenly.
He was born Aug. 18, 1902 in Blackland, Tex., to H.M. Bost and Nora Earnheart Bost. He was married to Annie Mae Lawson on Aug. 15, 1926. Mr. Bost was employed with the city of Greenville in the maintenance department and a member of the Caddo Mills United Methodist Church for over 50 years.
Survivors include his wife of Caddo Mills; a daughter, Mrs. Dora Bost Hamilton; a grandson, Keith Hamilton; a granddaughter, Karen Hamilton; two great-grandchildren, Mandie and Ashley Hamilton all of Greenville; a sister, Minnie Hagler of Caddo Mills; to half-sisters, Bessie McCutchin of Mesquite and Johnnie Glassbrook of Florida; a half-brother, H.M. Bost of Mesquite; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Jess Bost, and by two sisters, Lela Norris and Dora Hinsley.
Pallbearers will be Coy Jenkins, Glen Burke, Joe Talley, Hob Sprinkles, Buy Payne and G.V. Morgan.
Rentfrow Funeral Home of Caddo Mills is in charge of arrangements.
