Helen G. Roberts, 96, formerly of RD, Three Springs, PA, died Saturday, November 7, 2020 at AristaCare at Huntingdon Park. Born July 19, 1924 in Clay Twp., Huntingdon Co., PA, she was a daughter of the late James Wilday and Mary C. (Everhart) Black. She was united in marriage to Howard C. “Joe” Roberts on June 6, 1946 at Hagerstown, MD by Rev. Baughman. Mr. Roberts preceded in death February 4, 1985.

She was also preceded in death by two brothers, James Edgar Black and Robert Black and two sisters, Lafern Black and Doris Jean Arnold. She is survived by a number of nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Roberts had been a member of the Juniata United Methodist Church, Altoona, PA and more recently attended the various United Methodist churches in the area and held positions in some. During her life she was employed by W. T. Grant Co., Altoona, PA for 29 years then the former Mercy Hospital, Altoona, PA for 12 years. She enjoyed crossword puzzles, putting puzzles together, canning and gardening.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. There will be no public viewing or visitation.
