Death Of Mrs. R. B. Smith.

After a long illness Mrs. R. B. Smith, aged 65 years, died at her home in the city last Monday evening at 9 o'clock. Besides the bereaved husband the deceased is survived by three daughters - Mrs. A. G. Danforth and Mrs. J. B. Boazman, of this city, and Mrs. T. G. Robinson, of Lanett; two sisters - Mrs. S. R. Hudson and Mrs. A. Mitchell, of Mountain Creek, Ala., and four brothers - L. D., H. H., Joe and George Blackston, of Chambers County, besides other relatives.
Mrs. Smith was a woman of fine Christian character and was beloved by a host of friends who will be grieved by her death. As a wife, mother, neighbor and friend she fulfilled every duty, living a beautiful life that was a blessing to all who knew her.
Funeral services were held at the home yesterday afternoon at 3 o'clock, conducted by Rev. J. W. Rucker, assisted by Dr. W. C. Bledsoe. Interment was in the city cemetery.
