Services for Steve Alexander, of Ruth, are 2 p.m. Thursday, April 15, at Calvary Pentecostal Church in Jayess, with burial in Providence Baptist Church Cemetery in Jayess. Riverwood Family Funeral Service is in charge of arrangements.
Visitation is Wednesday beginning at 5 p.m. at the church.
Mr. Alexander, 56, died April 12, 2010, at the G.V. (Sonny) Montgomery VA Medical Center in Jackson. He was born on Nov. 19, 1953, to James A. Alexander and Ideva Brister Alexander.
He was a boilermaker. He was a veteran of the U.S. Marines. He was a member of the Baptist faith.
Preceding him in death were his grandparents.
Survivors are his parents; his son, Shawn Kevin Alexander; his brother, Terry L. Alexander and wife Terri; and many other relatives and friends.
