Eva Zenanna Sims, daughter of T.E. and Anna Sims was born Nov. 2, 1885, and departed this life Sept. 5, 1940, at the age of 34 years, 10 months, and 3 days. She was united in marriage to Fred Collins June 7, 1908. To this union three children were born, two sons, James and Allen, and a daughter, Thelma, all of Ozark. She was a devoted wife and mother and will be missed by all who knew her. She united with the Cassidy church later moving her membership to the Christian church at Selmore where she was a faithful member until her death. Other survivors besides her husband and children are a daughter-in-law, Mrs. James Collins and a grandson, Everett, three sisters, Mrs. Elma Tatum and Mrs. Mettie Kerr of Ozark and Mrs. Julia Mason of Bois D'Arc, and a host of relatives and friends. Funeral services were conducted Friday afternoon, Sept. 6, in the Selmore Christian church with Rev. Bill Reese of Springfield officiating. Burial was in the adjoining cemetery under the direction of the Chaffin Funeral Home of Ozark. Pallbearers were her nephews, Neal, Lowell and Huber Tatum, Ralph Doran, Lanford Kerr and Burl Collins.
