Ann Louise Mathis, age 62, born Apr. 10, 1929 in Gary, In., died Jan. 9, 1992. She moved to the OKC area in 1954 from Chicago. She graduated from Horace Mann High School in Gary, In. She attended De Paul University in Green Castle, In. and received her B.S. degree in 1951 from N.W. Univ., Evanston, Il. She was a member of St. Paul's Episcopal Cathedral where she was a member of the Prayer Group, treas. of St. Catherine's Guild. She was secretary of Alpha Phi Alumnae of OKC; member of Alpha Phi Sorority at N.W. and De Pauw Univ., treas. of Windsor Reviewers Book Club.
She is survived by her husband, James R. Mathis ; daughter, Corinne Sue Strat and her husband, Gary of Littleton, Co.; son, Jeffrey Coats Mathis and his wife, Barbara Sue of Englewood, Co.; her mother, Helen Coats of OKC; 2 grandchildren, Hilary and Jonathan Strat. Services 11:00 a.m. Monday, St. Paul's Cathedral, 127 N.W. 7th, OKC, with interment in Resurrection Cemetery.
