Mrs. Ettie Cavanaugh died at the home of P.F. Cavanaugh, her youngest son, at Carlos Junction, yesterday morning at the ripe old age of 81. The deceased was highly esteemed by all who knew her. She was the widow of Isaac Cavanaugh, who preceded her to the great beyond several years ago, and was the mother of a very large family few of whom remain to mourn her loss. Those surviving her are Squire John P. Cavanaugh and Mrs. James Stakem, of Midland and Mr. P. F. Cavanaugh of Carlos Junction or Upper Ocean.
Funeral services will be held in St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Rev. F. P. Michael officiating. The remains will be taken to Frostburg on the noon train for interment in St. Michael's cemetery.

The funeral of Mrs. Ettie Cavanaugh yesterday was an unusually large one. Services were conducted in St. Joseph's Catholic Church at 10:30 after which the remains were taken to St. Michael's cemetery, Frostburg, via C&P railroad.
The pall bearers were Garrett Burns, Denis Dorsey, Simon Kenny, Samuel Jackson, James Conlon and Patrick Creegan. The Frostburg Furniture Co. had charge of the funeral. Mr. Jas. Shield, director.
