Cavanaugh, who died in Midland last Sunday evening, took place this morning from St. Joseph's Church where a high mass of requiem was sung. Interment was made in the Catholic cemetery in Frostburg. John P. Cavanaugh was a native of Wicklow, Ireland and was aged 67. He was a justice of the peace in Midland ten years. His wife and one brother, Patrick Cavanaugh, of Ocean, and one sister, Mrs. James Stakem, of Midland, survive him."
