Final Rites for Amanda Clark
Funeral services for Amanda Ellen Clark were held Tuesday, July 7, at 2 p.m. at the Mansfield Funeral Home, the Rev. Don Griffin officiant. Interment was made in the Malvern cemetery.
Pall bearers were Ora Campbell, Donald Needs, Clarence Myers, Ora Kerns, Frank Evans and Frank Hertz. Mrs. Charles Costello, soloist, san "Abide With Me" and "Where He Leads Me," accompanied by Mrs. William Blackburn Jr., pianist.
The following life sketch was read:
Amanda Ellen Downing, daughter of N. W. and Margaret Downing, was born Aug. 17, 1889 at Sheridan, Mo., and passed away at the Edmundson hospital in Council Bluffs on July 5, 1959, at the age of 70 years.
She was married to Claud(sic) Clark who preceded her in death in 1949.
She is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Carl Clark, Shenandoah, and Mrs. Alice Foster, Sheridan, Mo., and many other relatives who mourn her passing.
She had made her home in the Malvern vicinity for many years.
