"Mrs. Sophia Gesina Hoepker, 88, Maryville, died at 3:15 a.m. today at St. Francis Hospital where she had been a patient since January 29, following a long illness.
She was born April 1, 1881, at Bland and was the daughter of the late Henry and Catherine Drucker Boettcher. She was married November 28, 1918 to Ben C. Hoepker at Syracuse, NE, who preceded her in death February 26, 1966. She was a member of the Jehovah's Witnesses.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at the Price Funeral Home and burial will be in Nodaway Memorial Gardens.
She is survived by two sons, Lowell Hoepker, Maryville, and Orlin Hoepker, Pickering; a daughter, Miss Adele Hoepker of the home; a brother, Karsten Boettcher, Maryville, and seven grandchildren."
