MRS. MARGARET E. STEVENS

Widow of Samuel Stevens, died at 3 o'clock Thursday afternoon at her home, 215 Liberty Street, Williamsburg, after an illness of ten years' duration. She was bedfast the past seven months.

Mrs. Stevens was born Sept. 11, 1877, at Hopewell, a daughter of James and Margaret (Gunnett) Cartwright. She was married in Hollidaysburg.

Surviving are the following children: James D. at home, Mrs. Wilbert Nead of Williamsburg, Mrs. Frank Knott of Altoona, Paul Stevens in Ithaca, N. Y., Mrs. Germanus Weidler at home, and Mrs. Roy Aurandt of Williamsburg. Also surviving are twelve grandchildren, a brother, George Cartwright of Mines, and two sisters, Mrs. Andrew Black of Altoona and Mrs. John Gingrich of Philadelphia.

Mrs. Stevens was of the Methodist faith. Friends will be received at the home at any time.

STEVENS – The funeral of Mrs. Margaret Ellen Stevens of 215 Liberty Street, Williamsburg, will be held with services at the Williamsburg Methodist Church Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock in charge of Rev. J. E. Brenneman, assisted by Rev. C. H. Shew. Burial will be in the Presbyterian Cemetery. Friends are being received at the family home.
