MRS. REBECCA JANE BLACK

Wife of Andrew J. Black of 2538 Third Avenue, died at her home at 12:25 o'clock this morning as the result of a stroke suffered last Thursday night. She was born in Hopewell on May 15, 1879, a daughter of James and Margaret (Gunnett) Cartwright, but had resided in Altoona for the past forty years.

Surviving are her husband, one son and one daughter, Miss Ruth, at home, and Leroy Black of the city, and three grandchildren.

Mrs. Black was a member of the Calvary Baptist Sunday School.

Friends will be received at the home after 7 o'clock this evening.

BLACK – Funeral services for Mrs. Rebecca Jane Black of 2538 Third Avenue will be held at the home at 2 o'clock Saturday afternoon by Rev Elmer Horner. Interment in Rose Hill Cemetery. Friends will be received at the home after 7 o'clock this evening.
