Thomas was born to Jesse Clyde (Justice) and Buford Mullis. Thomas, along with his Mother, 2 brothers-Cecil and Douglas, and a sister, Joan, perished in a horrible house fire. The FIVE funerals were all held together. The family was devastated by this tragedy. One daughter survived-Joyce-as Jesse had sent her to the mill to get her husband-Buford. Thomas wasn't even 3 months old. SAD!!!
