CARRE Vivian Fitzgerald Carre - age 89, born in Chapman, AL, raised in Pollard, AL, and a longtime resident of Mobile, passed away Thursday, June 28, 2012. Mrs. Carre retired from Brookley Air Force Base after many years of service. A 70 year member of the Order of the Easter Star, she was currently active with the John B. Shearer Chapter #517 and was the Past-Grand Organist for the state of Alabama. Mrs. Carre was a member of Dauphin Way United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Carre; parents, Emmett and Bessie Fitzgerald; brother, Emmett "Bud" Fitzgerald; sisters, Martha Pearson, Elizabeth Parker, and Dorothy "Dot" Davis; and grandson, Brad Stewart.
Interment in Pine Crest Cemetery.
