Marvin Yount, 71, life-long resident of Mulberry and vicinity and for many years a carpenter there, died at 9 o'clock Sunday night at the Home Hospital where he had been a patient for three days. He was born December 15, 1864, in Clinton county son of Hamilton and Elizabeth Platt Yount and Jan 6, 1892, he married Bessie C. Scott.

He was a member of the Methodist church. Besides the wife, he leaves two daughters. Fairy, at home, and Mrs. Florence Kelley, Detroit, two sons, Charles of Detroit and James at home; a brother, Melvin, of Brookston and a sister Mrs. John Black, Frankfort. The body was removed to the Kleinsmith funeral home Mulberry, where the funeral will be held Wednesday morning at 10:30 Rev E. F. Prevo officiating.
