Joseph Baratta, who died at the family home, 275 Varick Street last Sunday night, following a short illness, was born in Jersey City, May 29, 1914. Up to the time of his illness he was enrolled in Public School Number 3. He was a member of the Holy Rosary Church. His parents, Mr. and Mrs. Carl0 Baratta, five brothers, John, Frank, George, Peter and Anthony, and one sister, Dora, survive. Solemn high mass was celebrated at Holy Rosary Church at 10 o'clock this morning and interment was in Holy Name Cemetery.
