Howard Daniels, 69, of 412 North Tenth st. died in County Memorial hospital at 5:30 p.m. Monday following a long illness. He was admitted to the hospital last Saturday.
Born July 31, 1889, in Jefferson Township, he was the son of Ira and Mary Fortune Daniels. On May 6, 1914 he was married to Jennie Brier, who survives.
Mr. Daniels was a member of the Nazarene church.
Surviving besides his wife are three daughters, Mrs. Dale Ebersine, West Lafayette Route 1, Agnes and Una Daniels of the home; one son , Carlos of the home, two grandchildren, one brother, Charles of Magnolia, One son, one grandson, three sisters and two brothers are deceased.
Services in the Dawson Funeral home will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday Rev. W. E. Zimmerman will officiate. Burial will be in South Lawn Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral hom from 7-9 p.m. Wednesday and until time of services Thursday.
The family has requested donations be made to the Heart fund in place of sending flowers.
