Holmesville Woman Dies Friday Evening After Long Illness
Mrs. Cora Plant Gilt, of Holmesville died Friday at 6:45 p.m. in her home following an extended illness.
She was born July 21, 1874, in Coshocton county, a daughter of Ira and Mary Daniels. On Dec 31, 1891, she was married to Leonard Plant, who died Dec. 22, 1935. On Dec 25 1939 she was married to Otto Gilt, who survives.
She was a member of the Holmesville Church of Christ.
Surviving besides the husband are three sons, Charles Plant of Killbuck Route 1, Ira Plant of Canton, George Plant of East Springfield; four brothers, Harley Daniels of Spencer, Edward Daniels of Florida, Charles Daniels of Waynesburg, Howard Daniels of Coshocton; 14 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Two sons and two daughters are deceased.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 2 p.m. in the Elliott-Myers funeral home. Millerburg. Burial will be in Killbuck cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home from noon Sunday until time of services.
