David Hatfield Currie was the son of Garrett D Mary (nee Wright)Currie
David H Currie left a surviving widow Eliza E (nee Wheeler) Currie and four children named: George William Currie, Joseph Dunphy Currie, Emery Sutherland Currie, and Marion Cecilia Currie all residing in the Parish of Kingsclear.

d. Lower Kingsclear (York Co.) 27th Oct., David Hatfield CURRIE, age 54, left widow, three sons, one daughter. He was born in Upper Gagetown (Queens Co.), spent a part of his youthful days there, and in a revival in the autumn of 1829 was pleased to open his eyes to see and his heart to feel that he was a sinner, exposed to the wrath of God. He professed religion and was baptized by Rev. John MARSTERS and united with the church in that place. He afterwards removed to Lower Kingsclear and united with the church there. (see original)
