Mrs. Nina Neely Hankinson, 69 wife of Col. Frank E. Hankinson Jr., died in Atlanta, Georgia, Saturday of a heart attack.
Col. Hankinson, retired from the U.S. Army, was appointed executive director of the Ft. Jackson Memorial Foundation, Inc., in 1967.
Mrs. Hankinson was born in Atlanta, a daughter of the late Benjamin and Cornelia Hume. She was a member of the Chapel of the Cross Episcopal Church.
Surviving are her husband, Frank E. Hankinson Jr.; a son, Frank E. "Dusty" Hankinson III of Columbus, Mississippi; a daughter, of Dayton, Ohio; two sisters, Mrs. B. B. Fuller of College Park, Georgia, and Anne Stein of Spartanburg, South Carolina; and five grandchildren.
Services will be today at 11 a.m. in St. John's Episcopal Church in College Park, Georgia, with burial in College Park Cemetery.
