Wilford Otto Taylor, 87, died on May 8, 1990 in a Richfield hospital.

He was born on December 8, 1902, Fremont, Utah to William Allen and Della Elizabeth Ivie Taylor. He was the ninth child of 9 children. He married Ruby Althea Curtis, June 26, 1925 in Richfield, later solemnized in the Manti LDS Temple on February 7, 1973.

Dad was a well known carpenter in Sevier County area and helped in the constructions of many homes and buildings in the area.

He was employed by Alder Construction Company for many years, retiring in 1967. He then worked for Sevier County School District in the Maintenance Department. He was always willing to volunteer his talents to help with many projects for the Church and Community.

He was a great caregiver to Mom for many years as she struggled with health issues.

He loved to go fishing and deer hunting with his family.

He served on the Aurora Town Council. He was active in the LDS Church and was a high priest. He was 100% Home Teacher for over 10 years.

Survivors: sons, daughters, Bernell Taylor, Mrs. Roy (Boneta) Hadden, both West Valley City, Utah; Clifton (Kay) Taylor, Aurora, Utah; Mrs. Carnell (LaVern) Hatch, Richfield, Utah; Mrs. Fenton (Carol) Daley, Sandy, Utah; Mrs. LaVar (Varona) Roberts, Salt Lake City, Utah, Loye Taylor, Rohnert Park, California; 26 grandchildren; 43 great-grandchildren; sisters, Tressa Wardley and Zelma Breeze, both California. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruby Althea Taylor.

Funeral services were held on Saturday May 12, 1990 in the Aurora Second LDS Ward. Interment was in the Aurora Cemetery under direction by Springer/Turner Mortuary, Salina.
