Mrs. Ester Loveless Montgomery, 70, 807 Avenue B, Apartment 314 died at 2:25 p.m. Tuesday in a Rome hospital following an extended illness.

Mrs. Montgomery was born in Floyd County, April 16, 1911, daughter of the late James Jackson Loveless and Katherine Hunter Loveless and resided her entire life here. She was a member of the Wilkerson Road Baptist Church and Ladies Sunday School class.

Survivors are her widower, Jewel Montgomery, to whom she was married Nov. 14, 1931; two sons, J. W. Montgomery, Rome and Gene Montgomery, Silver Creek; one daughter, Mrs. Lynn Cochran, Rome; three brothers, Harper Loveless, Rockmart, Hubert and Waldon Loveless, both of Rome; two sisters, Mrs. Annie Gresham and Mrs. Sidney Gresham, both of Rome; eight grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday in Wilkerson Road Baptist Church with the Revs. Harold Beard and Wayne Gresham officiating. Interment will be in Oaknoll Memorial Gardens.

Pallbearers are Guy Loveless, Sid Gresham, Duane Clemones, Tim Montgomery, Todd and Kip Cochran.
