William Clifford (Buster) Loveless Sr., 69, of 310 S. McLin St., died Thursday at 9:30 a.m. in a Rome hospital following several months of illness.

Mr. Loveless was born in Floyd County Oct. 14, 1901. He was a farmer in Floyd County for many years, and was the son of the late Jim and Mamie Gray Loveless.

Surviving are his wife, the former Miss Mance Clemons of Rome; four daughters, Mrs. Curtis Cooper and Mrs. Ford Carr, both of Rome, Mrs. Michal Bizub of Snellville, and Mrs. Lamar Sprinkle of Winston Salem N.C.; one son, William C. Loveless Jr. of Cleveland, Ohio; 13 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, several brothers and sisters.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Henderson-Frazier Funeral Home chapel with the Revs. Gus Reed and Charles Parris officiating. Burial will be in East View Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home today from 7 to 9 p.m. At other hours they will be at the residence of a daughter, Mrs. Curtis Cooper, 7 N. McLin Street.

Pallbearers will include Tonie Loveless, Doug Loveless, Olin Locklear, Roland Locklear, John D. Story, Lois Story and Hoyt Hardin.
