DALLAS ~ Bernice Jane Putnam, 79, passed away Saturday, June 23, 2012.
She was born Feb. 25, 1933, in Gaston County to the late Warren and Vangie (Hoyle) Murphy.
Bernice was preceded in death by her husband, Billie Putnam; brother, Bob Murphy; and granddaughter, Kimberly Putnam.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, June 26, 2012; at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Gastonia.
Interment will follow at Gaston Memorial Park.
Dallas Funeral Home is serving the Putnam family.
