Former Steele Co. Resident dies at home Sunday night. Funeral At Sacred Heart Wednesday for Mrs. Adolph Blazek, a former resident of Medford. She died at her home in Willow River, Minnesota, Sunday night at 12:30 o'clock. She had been in poor health for some time and had been ill since last October. She was aged 71 years, 10 months.
The remains will arrive in Owatonna this morning at 10:40 o'clock and will be taken to the home of her daughter, Mrs. Frank Kubicek on the old Spring Road. The funeral will take place on Wednesday with the last rites being held at the Sacred Heart Catholic church in the morning at 10 o'clock. Monsignor J. Pivo is to officiate. The interment will be made in the Sacred Heart cemetery, south of the city.
Mrs. Blazek was born in Bohemia where she grew to womanhood. Her maiden name was Miss Frances Rysavy. Her marriage to Mr. Blazek occurred in her native land. The family came to America some forty years ago, and they lived in Medford township until 12 years ago. Three children preceded her in death.
Mrs. Blazek is survived by her husband and three daughters: Mrs. Frank Kubicek, Owatonna, Mrs. Hubert Moravec, Milestone, Saskatchewan, Canada; and Miss Rose Blazek of Willow River, Minn.

Parents: Vincent (Vincenc) Rysavy and Teresa (Teresie) Cermakova.

Mother of Frances, Beatrice, Rose, Rosalie and Cecilie.

Born in Dolni Dobrouc, Bohemia.

Rosalie, Cecilie and one other child died of typhoid on the ship enroute to the US in 1892 and were buried at sea.
