Olcie Mae Williams Long, 79, of Terre Haute, IN, formerly of Martinsville, IL passed away at 3:50 p.m. on Friday, April 6, 2012 at Union Hospital, Terre Haute, IN.

She was born October 5, 1932 in Martinsville, IL, the daughter of Otis Leroy Williams, Sr. and Clara Ellen Carpenter Williams.

Mrs. Long was a 1950 graduate of Martinsville High School. She moved to Terre Haute, IN after graduation. Mae worked for many years in retail sales, previously working at Stein Mart, Goodwill Industries, Hillman Jewelers, Columbia House, Fannie Mae Candies and Quaker Maid.

Survivors include her son, Roger William Carpenter; her daughter, Karen Ann Terrando; grandchildren; Amber Lyn Eversole, Sean Michael Brentlinger and Jenifer Ann Wright; great grandsons, Ty Ray Eversole and Hunter James Wright; sister, Ruth Wilkey and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded by her parents, former husband, Floyd Lee Long; brother, Otis Leroy Williams, Jr., sisters, Mildred Frankel, Irene Conner, Doris Conner, Marilyn Hammer and Velma Maxwell.

Funeral services were held at the Greenwell Funeral Home, Martinsville, IL with Pastor Billie Ray Ulrey officiating.

Burial followed in the Ridgelawn Cemetery, Martinsville, IL.
