Funeral services will be held at 10;30 a.m. (CST) Tuesday at the Greenwell Funeral Home in Martinsville, with the Rev. George G. Nika officiating. Burial will follow in Ridgelawn Cemetery in Martinsville. Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Mrs. Conner was born May 12, 1923 in Anderson Township, Clark County, the daughter of Otis and Clara Carpenter Williams. She married Ernest Conner on Feb 12, 1944.
Survivors include her husband; two sons, Charles Conner of Martinsville and John Conner of West Union; one daughter, Mary Shelley of Martinsville; one brother, Otis Williams Jr. of Longview, Texas; six sisters, Velma Maxwell, Irene Conner and Marilyn Hammer, all of Martinsville, Ruth Wilkey of Brocton, Olcie Mae Long of Terre Haute, Ind. and Mildred Frankel of Casey; eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one grand-daughter.
Mrs. Conner was a member of the Martinsville Bible Church.
