Son of James Henry and Leila HARRIS Carraway.
Lived in Richmond Virginia but died in a car accident in North Carolina.
Was married to Dorothy when he died.

Discovered in summer of 2013 that my grandfather is buried under an alias of "James L. C. Harris", which explains why on his death certificate the informant signed "Mrs. James L. Harris", which is probably his wife Dorothy, even though "name of deceased" is listed as James Brown Carraway. His mother's maiden name was Harris, but as of yet I haven't discovered why an alias was used on his grave marker.
He was married to my grandmother, Mary Ann LARRIMORE, in 1943 and they divorced a few years later after they had two children together (my mother, Carol Ann CARRAWAY and my uncle, James Henry Carraway).
