Memorial services for Betty Hallam will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, June 22, 2012 at Gillette Memorial Chapel with Mike Zmudzinski officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Pisgah Cemetery.

Betty Elaine Hallam née Davis, age 83, formerly of Gillette Wyoming passed away February 12, 2012 at Mountain View Care Center in Bozeman.

A memorial service is being planned for later in the year in Gillette, Wyoming.

Betty Hallam was the daughter of Earl Bud Davis and Susie (Gobat) Davis of Gillette, Wyoming. She married James Leo Barritt in 1947, and had 3 children. She was widowed in 1956. She married James Schear in 1957 and had 1 son. They were later divorced. She married George Hallam in 1989, and subsequently divorced. The people and pets that she cared for through her life were her center. Betty left this life with an abundance of love that she shared until the end. She hugged everyone she met and left them smiling. We are all better because of her.

A special thanks to Hospice of Southwest Montana, Mountain View Care Center, Spring Meadows, and Hamilton House for the care they gave her. Also, a thank you to her special friends at Bridger Peaks in Bozeman and Pioneer Manor in Gillette.

Betty is survived by her children: Connie Bouldin (Ernie) of Bozeman, Montana, Randy Barritt (Betty) of Sheridan Wyoming, Danny Barritt (Clarinda) of Phoenix Arizona, and Gary Schear (Lori) of Bozeman, Montana; brother, Jerry Davis of Riverton Wyoming, and a special niece, Vicky (Mike) Zmudzinski and family of Gillette Wyoming, and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and many friends.

She was preceded in death by 5 brothers, Robert, Howard, Donald, Steve, Mike, and two sisters, Carole and Minnie.
