Arie A. Punt, 75, of Sioux Center, died Dec. 15 at a Sioux Center hospital.
Services were at 1:30 p.m. Dec. 18 in the First Reformed Church. The Rev. Jack Boerigter officiated. Burial was in Memory Gardens under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home.
Mr. Punt was born Sept. 10, 1900 near Maurice. He married Alyda Vander Brake Feb. 17, 1932 at Sioux Center. The couple farmed near Maurice and Carmel. They retired and moved to Sioux Center in December of 1969.
Survivors include his widow; two sons, Willard of Orange City and Roger of Holland, Mich.; four daughters, Mrs. Arnold (Adelaide) De Jong of Hull, Mrs. Willard (Arlene). Boscaljon of Sanborn, Mrs. Kenneth (Hendrene) Kats of Rock Valley and Mrs. Ronald (Margaret) Kooistra of Sioux Center; three brothers, Henry of Sioux Center, the Rev. Martin of Poughkeepsie, N.Y. and Gerrit of Maurice; three sisters. Mrs. Jake (Fanny) Kuhl of Sioux Center, Mrs. Lawrence (Johanna) Vander Berg, both of Sioux Center and Mrs. John (Ada) Vermeer of Montevideo, Minn.; and 17 grandchildren.
