NE--Harlan County Journal...12 Jun 1931
FLOYD MOORE: son of Mr&Mrs Herman F Moore of this city, died early Wednesday morning. Floyd Moore was born in Alma on 13 Feb 1922. From infancy he had been a victim of leakage of the heart & while every possible available medical assistance had been provided for him by his parents, his physical condition throughout his lifetime rendered him an invalid. When possible for him to do so he attended school, however, not like other normal children of his age, but through the assistance of members of his family. He was a member of the Christian church Sunday school & enjoyed the company of his associates when his physical condition would permit.
Floyd was a congenial little fellow & never overlooked an opportunity to converse with his elders. He was interested in matters of this world & eager through questioning, to learn its general plan & final termination. He possesed a loveable disposition & his passing has caused a deep sorrow to hover over the home.
Funeral services were conducted Thursday afternoon from the Christian church in carge of RevHA Bourne & burial was made in the Alma Cemetery. The Journal joins the friends of the family in extending sympathy in their hour of sorrow.
