Resident of Mendon is Crash Victim— A 21-year-old Mendon woman, Alice Faye Anderson, was fatally injured Sunday night when the car in which she was riding went off U-226, about four miles from the Snow Basin Ski Resort. She died enroute to the Thomas Dee Memorial Hospital in Ogden where four other passengers were taken for treatment of injuries. Rites Wednesday ~ Alice Faye Anderson was born March 7th, 1944 in Wells, Nevada, a daughter of Elmer W. Anderson and Ruth Pehrson Anderson. She graduated from South Cache high school and seminary and has been employed in Logan recently for the Mode O Day Corporation. Survivors include her parents, Mendon; a brother, Elmer Wesley Anderson, Jr., and two sisters, Mrs. Elizabeth Anderson Kirby and Paula Michelle Anderson, all of Mendon. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday at twelve noon in Hall Mortuary Chapel, Logan, with Bishop Fred W. Sorensen of the Mendon L.D.S. Ward officiating.
