Phillip Francia, 80 of Wheelersburg Route 1, died Tuesday at home.
A native of Italy, he was a retired employee of the Norfolk & Western Railway.

Francia was preceded in death by his wife, Mrs. Bernardine Francia in 1958.
Surviving are five sons, Joseph of Beaumont, Texas, Vincent of Cincinnati, Ohio, Albert of Orlando, Florida, Samuel of New Cumberland, Pennsylvania, and Stephen Francia of Columbus, Ohio; Five daughters, Mrs. Theresa Schwamberger, with whom he made his home. Mrs. Mary Griffin of Cincinnati, Ohio, Mrs. Marcella Van Dyke of Columbus, Ohio, Mrs. Catherine Yates of Lovinia, Michigan, and Mrs. Joan Prince of California, Ohio: 28 grandchildren, and 20 great-granchildren.

Services are to be held at 9:00 a.m. Friday, at St. Mary's Catholic Church of which he was a member. Internment is to be in St. Stephen's Cemetery in Fort Thomas, Kentucky.

Recitation of the rosary is to be at 8:00 p.m., Thursday at Melcher Funeral Home.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 7 tonight.
