ROSEMARY FICKES--51: died Thursday [6-28] in her residence at Uniontown following a long illness. She was born 6 Dec 1932 in Warren, a dau of John & Lula Tidd Stowe. A former employee of the Asplin Basket Co, she had been a resident of the Uniontown-Hartville area since 1961, she was a member of Hartvl Church of God; attended Warren G Harding High School & was a graduate of American Beauty College.
Survived by her husband Dale Fickes Sr; 2 daus: Linda (sp-Robert) Dumke-Clinton OH; Rosemary (sp-Dennis) Subick-Greensburg OH; a son Dale Jr (sp-Debbie)-Akron; 3 sisters: Viola Marvola-Youngstown; Virginia Shetler-Warren; Helen Root-Hiram; 5 brothers: Hubert, John, James, Guy & Howard Stowe-all of Warren & 5 grandchildren. A son-Hubert Dale Fickes died in Jul 1966.
Services will be Sunday afternoon [7-01] at Arnold Funeral Home-Hartville with RevBruce Queen officiating. Interment in Mount Peace Cemetery. Material tributes may be made to American Cancer Society.
