A 95-year-old McLoud resident died Tuesday at a Midwest City hospital.
Minnie Cox was a homemaker.
She was born Oct. 31, 1901 at Burchem, Ala. She was raised in Savannah, Tenn.
In 1927, she married Bert Cox Sr. in Tennessee, then moved to the McLoud area.
Surviving relatives include one son, Bert Cox Jr., Midwest City; four daughters, Mary Cornwell, Walnut Creek, Calif; Margaret Patrick, El Reno; Ella Jean Hull, Webber Falls; Evelyn Long, Choctaw; 13 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Other survivors include one brother, Robert L. Lack, Savannah; and several nieces and nephews.
Her husband preceded her in death on April 5, 1980. An infant daughter preceded her in death in 1945. Her parents, two sisters and four brothers also preceded her in death.
Services will be 10 a.m. at Roesch-Walker Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Roy Brown officiating. Burial will be at Dale Cemetery.
