Lillian M Aeschliman, age 93 years, of West Unity, passed away Friday morning, February 11, 2011, at Fairlawn Haven Nursing Home in Archbold. She was born November 4, 1917, in Goshen, IN, the daughter of Noah and Clara (Yoder) Long.

She married Wilbur “Bill” Aeschliman on December 28, 1941 and he preceded her in death on September 18, 1979. A resident of the West Unity area 42 years, she worked at Lauber Manufacturing in Archbold and Sauder Manufacturing in Stryker. She was a member of the Archbold Evangelical Church.

She is survived by four children, 9 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son David (Vietnam on January 17, 1970), grandson Jason Aeschliman, 2 brothers, and 3 sisters. Memorial services will be held on Monday at 11 am at Archbold Evangelical Church with Pastor Jesse Kahler and Rev Charles Zimmerman officiating. Interment will precede in the Floral Grove Cemetery at West Unity. Friends may call at Short Funeral Home in Archbold from 2-8 pm on Sunday. Contributed by Linda K (#47400410)
