DEWESE Maurice D. "Maury" Maurice D. "Maury" Dewese, 87, of Weston, passed away Sunday, May 22, 2011. He was born in Weston, Ohio to the Orlo and Lousie (Ducat) Dewese. Maury married Virginia Shroyer on April 12, 1946 in the Weston Church of Christ and she survives in Weston. Also surviving are his children, Bruce Dewese of Weston and Vicki Prenzlin of Dayton; a sister, Glena Philo of Custar; a brother, Phillip Dewese of Grand Rapids; two granddaughters, Tracy (Doug) Parker and Shaya (Brett) Askins; a great-grand-daughter, Rylie. He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Robert Dewese and a sister, Phyllis Hummel. Visitation will be on Wednesday May 25, 2011 from 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. in the Loomis - Hanneman Funeral Home, 20375 E. Taylor St., Weston, Ohio 43569; Tele: 419/669-0504. Maury's funeral service will be on Thursday May 26, 2011 at 10:30 a.m. in the Weston Church of Christ, 13355 Center St., Weston, Ohio. Burial will follow in Weston Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Maury's honor to the American Parkinson Disease Association, 135 Parkinson Ave., Staten Island, New York, 10305.
