TAMMS -- Robert "Bob" Lee Foltz, 83, passed away at 2:40 a.m. Friday, June 15, 2012, in Veterans Affairs Nursing Care Center in Marion.

Robert was born Jan. 29, 1929, in Cape Girardeau, son of the late Joseph Foltz and Edith (Riley) Foltz.

Robert was a member of the Tamms First Baptist Church, a U.S. army veteran of the Korean War and a retired carpenter.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents; three sisters; and one brother.

Survivors include his wife of 48 years, Norma Jean (Wiseman) Foltz of Tamms; a son, Ronnie (Julie) Foltz of Phoenix, Ariz.; one grandson, Bradley Foltz; one stepgrandson, Jeffrey Moore; one brother, Eugene Foltz of Tamms; and a sister, Anna B. Lloyd of Marble Hill, Mo.; and several nieces and nephews.

Services for Robert L. "Bob" Foltz will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 19, in Jones Funeral Home Tamms, with the Revs. Tom Bridges and Bob Kirby officiating. Interment will be in Green Lawn Memorial Gardens, Villa Ridge with full military honors given by the Illinois National Guard Burial Team and local veterans. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral Home.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of memorials to TIP Hospice 125 Leigh Drive, Anna, IL 62906, or to Tamms Baptist Church, c/o Della Stiff, Tamms, IL 62988, in memory of Bob Fotlz.
