Ann Lloyd, 86, of Marble Hill, Missouri, died at her home on August 25, 2020.
Born in McClure, Illinois, on November 15, 1933, she was the daughter of Joseph Lee and Edith Riley Foltz. Ann had three brothers, Robert, Eugene and her twin Al Foltz; and three sisters, Myrtle Oberts, Edith McCormick and Vergie Lipe, who all preceded her in death.
She married Robert B. Lloyd on August 22, 1976, in Oceanside, California. They moved to Marble Hill in 1992. She and Bob did backyard gardening, fed the birds and were the neighborhood cat lovers. Ann was a professional quilt maker. She made quilts for family and friends, and donated others to the animal rescue.
Bob sold her fabric craft creations including potato bags everywhere they traveled. Ann specialized in T-shirt quilts for young people to remember their school, sports and group activities.
She lovingly and meticulously cared for Bob during his final years until his death on January 1, 2012.
She was a determined and protective mother who checked in with her children and grandchildren frequently.
Ann was the mother of six children: Debra Waters of Texas; Beverly Flores and Elizabeth Legg, both of California; Becky-Lee Barr and Cash S. Hubbard, both of Michigan; and William Hubbard, who also preceded her in death. She was also blessed to have 13 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation and funeral services will be on September 10, 2020, at Hutchings Funeral Chapel in Marble Hill, Missouri. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until service time at noon. Rev. Ray Webb will conduct the funeral service. Burial will be at the Missouri Veterans' Cemetery in Bloomfield, Missouri.
