Muriel E. Ackley, age 89, formerly of Ashland, went to be with the Lord on Feb. 9, 2007. She was born Feb. 21, 1917 in Star City, Indiana.
Muriel and her husband Ray had owned and managed the Silver Apartments in Ashland.
She is survived by her brother Mel, of Milwaukee; three grandchildren: David of Cable, Joe of Albuquerque, N. M. and Carrie of Golden, Colo.; and seven great-grandchildren.
Our loving grandmother was preceded in death by her son, Tom, on March 29, 2004 and her husband Ray.
A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Sat., May 5, at the Mt. Hope Cemetery in Ashland with Rev. Ernest Bliss officiating. The Roberts Funeral home in Ashland is assisting the family with arrangements.
