Jean Montgomery, 85, of Plattsburg, died Friday, March 23, 2012 at the Clinton Care & Rehab in Plattsburg. Born Myrtle Jean Tingler on Dec. 12, 1926 in Pond Creek, Oklahoma. She was a homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church of Plattsburg. She was also a member of the (DAR) Daughters of the American Revolution and was a Girl Scout leader. Jean was very active with the Plattsburg Senior Center. She was preceded in death by her parents, James Clair Tingler and Alma Leona Davenport; her siblings, Clinton (Lee) Tingler, Harley Tingler, Gladys Tingler and James (Jack) Tingler and her son Robert Cook,(son of Ray Cook).
