Margie Hillis, age 90, of Williamsville, MO, passed away on Saturday, June 9, 2012, at her residence, in Williamsville, MO. Margie was born June 1, 1922 to the late William B. Aldridge and the late Cora Christine Aldridge, in Williamsville, MO.
Margie was of the Pentecostal faith. She spent her life as wife, homemaker, and mother. She enjoyed sewing and spending time with her family. On December 21, 1940, she was united in marriage to the late Alfred G. Hillis, in Greenville, MO. He preceded her in death on April 24, 1998.
She is survived by two sons, Stephen Hillis and Jeff (Lisa) Hillis , both of Williamsville, MO; three daughters, Helen (Sonny) Yates, of Paragould, ARK, Clara (James) Clubb and Christine (Gene) Clubb, both of Williamsville, MO; 14 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
Margie was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one daughter and son-in-law, Susan and Roney Anderson; two brothers, Andrew Aldridge and Ely Aldridge; two sisters, Freda Aldridge and Edith Hillis.
A graveside service was held on Tuesday, June 12, 2012 beginning at 10:00 a.m., at the Holliday Cemetery, Williamsville, MO. Pastor Kenny Condray officiated the ceremonies. Music was also provided by Pastor Condray. Online condolences may be made at www.rueggfuneralhomes.com.
