Leonard Miller

Leonard Miller, 68, died Tues., Aug. 7, 1979 at the McCook Community Hospital. He was born June 30, 1911 at Benkelman, NE, the son of the late Emery and Bertha Miller. He grew up in Benkelman and was married to Alberta Mathews in Benkelman on Aug. 19, 1933. They lived in Dundy County until moving to McCook in 1954.

He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers and two grandchildren.

Survivors are his wife, Bertie of McCook; three daughters, Mrs. Lee (Gloria) Campbell and Mrs. Eddy (Patsy) Collins, both of Oshkosh, NE, and Mrs. Donald (Eileen) Bradley, McCook; eight grandchildren and four great grandchildren; one brother, Dr. William Humphrey of North Hampton, NH; two sisters, Mrs. Velma Hansen, Benkelman, and Mrs. Blanche Somerhalder, Crafton, NE.

Services were held Friday afternoon, Aug. 10 at the Herrmann Memorial Chapel in McCook with the Rev. William Schmuki officiating. Interment was in the Memorial Park cemetery in McCook.
