Nov 26, 1959 – Zeffie Mae Ward Of Wideman Dies
Zeffie Mae Ward age 60, daughter of the late Vince and Mary Andrews Williams was born at Morristown, Ark., on February 21, 1893. She died at a Calico Rock, Ark., hospital on November 10, 1959.
She was married to John O. Ward at Myron, Arkansas on February 27, 1909 and to this union four children were born.
She is survived by her husband of Wiseman, Ark., two daughters, Mrs. Faye Cook and Mrs. Carmon Acklin both of Wiseman; two sons, Vince Ward and T. C. Ward both of Salem, Ark.; three brothers. John Williams and Bill Williams both of Wiseman and Richard Williams of Joiner, Ark.; one sister, Mrs. Willie Hand of Manson, Wash.; eight grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and many, many friends.
Mrs Ward was a member of the Wiseman Methodist Church.
Services were held on Thursday, November 12 at 2:00 p.m. at the Wiseman Methodist Church with Rev. Remmel Rowden of Oxford, Ark., and Rev. Claude Masters of Cushman, officiating. Interment was in the Wiseman Cemetery under the direction of Carter Funeral Service of Salem.
Pallbearers were Lucious Williams, Rex Williams, Tracy Williams, Kenneth Williams, J. C. Majors and Tommy W. Williams, all nephews of Mrs. Ward.
