Galesburg Mail: William F. Graham, one of the oldest residents in the neighborhood of Alexis, passed out of this life this morning shortly after midnight at the home of his daughter, Mrs. D. W. Aldrich at 1079 North Cedar street. Mr. Graham underwent an operation in the fall and had almost recovered from that when he was taken down with another disease and for the past week has been sinking rapidly.

Mr. Graham was born in Huntington county, Pennsylvania, March 13, 1833. When little more than six years of age the boy came to the west with his parents and settled in Hendenson county, this state. He here grew to manhood and on August 19, 1858, was joined in marriage to Margaret Hutchinson. The wedding occurred near Alexis and they to farming near there and made that their home continuously until the spring of 1895, when they moved to this city.

For ten years Mr. Graham resided in this city, and then moved back to the farm, where he continued to live until shortly before his death. He is survived by the following children: Mrs. Arthur Olin of Alexis, Mrs. C. E. Anderson of Alexis, Arthur H. Graham of Alexis, Daniel H. Graham of Ursa, Ill.; Mrs. S. C. West of Denver, Colo., and Mrs. D. W. Aldrich of this city, all the children being present at his death. One child died in infancy. They remains also one sister, Mrs. Martha Stewart of Morristown, S. D. His wife died in August, 1892.

Funeral services will be held at Norwood near Alexis. The remains will be taken from Galesburg on the 8 o'clock train Thursday morning to Alexis. Thence the funeral party will proceed to Norwood Presbyterian church where public services will be held at 11 o'clock with interment at Norwood cemetery.
