Although family records and censuses indicate that 1819 is the correct birth year; based on age at death of 93 years, reportedly on the tombstone, the birth year would be abt. 1915.

Jacob married Mary Ann Miller (b. 1824-25, d. aft 1880) on May 23, 1843 in Fairfield Co., OH. They had 10 children:
