A funeral service for Mrs. Ada Dial, 79, who died Tuesday, will be held at 4:30 p.m. Friday at Whitehill Baptist Church by the Revs. Davis Locklear, Purcell Locklear and Roy Maynard. Burial, Whitehill Church Cemetery.
Surviving: four daughters, Mrs. Nellie Hatcher of Laurinburg, Mrs. Thurman Chavis and Mrs. Ada Chavis of John's Station and Mrs. Sarah Sanderson of Pembroke, seven sons, James, Robert, Willie, and Joe Dial of Laurinburg, Clifton Jr. of Maxton, Coolidge of Dillon, S.C. and Sandy Dial of John's Station; two sisters, Mrs. Ockie Jacobs of Clinton, S.C., and Mrs. Hattie Locklear of Maxton; 89 grandchildren; 105 great-grandchildren.
