Yesterday morning the TRIBuNE contained a brief note announcing the death of Mrs. Hettie Hileman, which sad event occurred on Thursday night, at the residence of her daughter, Mrs. Hettie B. Taylor, wife of I. S. Taylor, deceased, Union avenue near Broad street. Mrs. Hileman's maiden name was Hettie Bouslough and she was born in Frankstown township, Blair county, about two miles distant from Hollidaysburg. She was married in the year 1827 to Henry Hileman, who died in 1859. Her life was mostly passed in Blair county and for the past twenty-seven years she had been a resident of Altoona. At the time of her death she was 93 years of age. In 1842 she united herself with the Lutheran church, and since her residence in Altoona she had been a member of the First church. She was a kind mother and devoted wife, an earnest Christian woman. She leaves one son and two daughters who are: David Y. Hileman, of Nebraska; Sarah X, wife of John Young, and Mrs. Hettie B, wife of I. S. Taylor, deceased. Both daughters reside in Altoona. One son, Joseph R. Hileman, died in Nebraska. She also leaves twenty-one grandchildren and twenty-four great-grandchildren. The funeral will take place this afternoon. Leaving the residence of Mrs. Taylor at half-past 1 0'clock the cortege will proceed to the First Lutheran church where services will be held at 2. They will be conducted by Rev. E. D. Weigle, pastor of the church. Interment in Fairview cemetery. Alt. Trib Feb 15, 1890
