Mrs. Sarah Adcock, age 73, wife of William Adcock, died at home of daughter, Mrs. George Evans in Carrollton, January 3, 1921, after a prolonged illness. She was the daughter of John & Martha Admire, born in Kentucky, March 25, 1848. In 1868, she and William Adcock, who survives were married, 7 of their 10 children suvive as follows: Mrs. George Evans [Della May], Mrs. John Bradley [Julia], John Adcock, Mrs. Eli Zink [Clara Maude], Mrs. Clinton Short [Mary Louise], William Adcock, Jr., and Mrs. George Garrison [Gertrude B.], all of Carrollton and vacinity. She has been a member of the Baptist Church at Mt. Gilead for years. Burial in Mt. Gilead Cemetery, SW of Carrollton.
